When booking with us, you agree to comply with the following policies.
Cancellation Policy
As appointments are specifically reserved for you, it is important that clients attend their scheduled appointments or provide sufficient notice to cancel. If you are unable to make an appointment or wish to change the time or date, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice.
To help you remember your appointment, we send a reminder text or email beforehand. Please understand that cancellations (regardless of the situation) have a significant impact on our income, as this is our livelihood. Our cancellation policy helps ensure we can continue to provide excellent hair and nail services in the future.
If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours, a cancellation fee will apply. This fee covers the cost of the time set aside for your appointment, as it is unlikely we can fill the slot on short notice. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 to 6 hours before your appointment, the fee will be 50% of the value of the services booked. If you cancel or reschedule within 6 hours of your appointment or fail to show up, the fee will be 100% of the value of the services booked. No-shows will require all future appointments to be prepaid. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it may need to be rescheduled, and a cancellation fee may apply.
We understand that unavoidable circumstances can arise, and in case of an emergency, we will do our best to accommodate and work with you. However, please remember that cancellations impact our business significantly.
Sickness
We work within very close proximity to you which means it is crucial that you reschedule your appointment if you suspect you are unwell. If you fail to reschedule and show up to an appointment unwell you will be sent home immediately and invoiced for 100% of the service you were booked in for. We ask that, if you do need to reschedule due to sickness, you provide adequate notice where possible.
In instances where this is not possible, our standard cancellation policy applies. We understand that it is not your fault if you get sick, but the financial impact on our business is the same.
Thank you for understanding that this is our livelihood, how we pay our bills, and our full time jobs.
Children
We prioritise safety at our salon, which involves the use of sharp tools, chemicals, and other potential hazards, including fragile items and surfaces that are not safe for climbing. Unfortunately, this makes it unsafe to accommodate children.
Our salon is designed as a space for you to relax, unwind, and enjoy some well-deserved "me time." We kindly request that you schedule your appointments with the understanding that it is best to come alone.
While we love your little ones, please only bring them if you are able to supervise them closely. They must be old enough to sit in the waiting area for the entire duration of your appointment and should remain seated there.

Consultations
A non-refundable booking fee of $50 is required for all hair consultations. This fee will be credited toward the cost of your treatment if you decide to proceed with scheduling a hair service during your consultation. Please note that our standard cancellation policy applies, and the fee is due upon booking. We specialise in curly hair and require all new curly clients to book and complete a Curly Education session before their first appointment for cuts, colour, or other services. Hair Colour Policy
Prior to all colour treatments we recommend a patch test to test for any allergic reactions to the product. This patch test must be done 48 hours before your colour appointment. By choosing not to have the patch test prior to your appointment you will be required to sign a disclaimer. Woodbine Studios is not liable for any skin irritations or reactions to our colour products.
Nail Repairs and Removal Policy
It’s your responsibility to follow aftercare advice and take care of your nails. Repairs will be chargeable.
On the rare occasion there is an issue caused by application please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so the issue can be remedied.
Removal or backfilling of products we have applied is included in your service. For full removal of your product without reapplication, please book the appropriate removal service.
For your safety we will always remove products from another salon before new product is applied. This comes at an additional charge.
Refund Policy
Treatments are an investment of time, money, and care on our client and staff’s behalf. We will make every effort to satisfy a client’s expectations and troubleshoot after care dilemmas diligently. We have a no refund policy.
